Say What’s Up To The New 2018 Honda Accord Redesign, Fastback Much?

It’s about that time again for Honda to freshen up it’s all time favorite family sedan, the Honda Accord. For 2018 it has been totally redesigned and takes on that popular “fastback” sedan-coupe silhouette. It comes in four trims (LX, Sport, EX, & EX-L) and ranges from a start of $23,600 up to $30,000 with all the bells and whistles respectively. Something interesting and surprising to know is that the Accord no longer is available with a V6, but it’s most powerful engine comes from it’s high performance Civic Type-R, a turbocharged 4-cylinder. It is dialed down a bit to push out 252 hp, but with 273 lb ft of torque that’s more than enough. A new bit of tech Honda has implemented with the Accord are the “Honda Sensing® ” features (standard on all Accords). The features include…

  • Collision Mitigation Braking System™ (CMBS™)*
  • Road Departure Mitigation System (RDM)*
  • Adaptive Cruise Control (ACC) with Low-Speed Follow*
  • Lane Keeping Assist System (LKAS)*
  • Traffic Sign Recognition (TSR)*
